Once upon a time we had no computers, and films used stop motion and Ray Harryhausen was the best. I don’t have many heroes in my life but he is one of them other than my mother, father and Ali. Watch this small documentary and then on this Bank Holiday Monday watch one of his films. My favourite is Jason and the Argonauts. A master class in models and the painstaking process of animating.
